CaliShrimp raises Neocaridina — hardy, prolific, aquarium-safe shrimp in some of the hobby's most saturated colors. Cherry Shrimp and Blue Dream are opening the lineup, with more colors hatching behind them.

CaliShrimp is a new California-based breeder built around one idea: shrimp only color up as well as the water they're raised in. Every tank is cycled, tested, and kept on a steady schedule before any shrimp go up for sale — we'd rather ship fewer shrimp in great condition than rush a batch out the door.
Now Hatching
Both are the same easygoing species — Neocaridina — just bred for different colors. If you can keep one, you can keep the other.
Neocaridina ‘Red Cherry’
The classic red shrimp of the freshwater hobby. Color runs from a translucent Sakura pink up through solid, opaque Fire Red depending on grade — a dependable starting point for any planted tank.
Neocaridina ‘Blue Dream’
A selectively-bred blue morph of the same hardy species, prized for a deep, opaque blue that pops against green plants. Same easygoing care as Cherry Shrimp — just a different color line.
Keep colors separate. Neocaridina color strains interbreed freely with each other, and offspring trend back toward wild coloring. Keep Cherry and Blue Dream in their own tanks — ours and yours — if you want the color to stay true.
